About the Author
Hannah Fettig knits, sews and designs knitwear. She works for Knitwit Yarn Shop in Portland, Maine where she holds open workshops for advanced knitters. Before working at the yarn shop, Hannah owned and operated a photo studio for six years, where the bulk of her work was shooting weddings. Knitting gave her relief from the stress of weddings, and at the end of her 2005 season, she decided to "retire" from photography.

Normally I buy knitting books and maybe knit one or two things from them. This book has provided me with gifts for nearly everyone I know and also some yummy mittens for me! It's really great - loads of actual knittable patterns. The wools are mostly American but you can find substitutes fairly easily. Banyan Tree stocks US yarns if you are desperate and have great delivery.

Bit of a disappointment. I bought this as someone else had recommended it, but it wasn't for me. The items in the book are pleasant, but not amazing. I know everyone has different tastes, but I was disappointed with this book, and gave it away.
