This A3 format road atlas for truck drivers provides super-clear mapping at an ultra-large scale of 1.5 miles to 1 inch, providing more detail but easier to read, each page has been titled with its geographical location so you can turn to the page you need more easily. Static speed camera locations are pinpointed on the mapping in addition to a mobile speed camera listing. Essential information for truck and lorry drivers is included with a truckstop and roadside cafe directory, most 'bashed' bridges identified, Channel Tunnel and terminal maps, plus information on how to use the National Grid.

I decided to buy this map after a Sat-Nav mishap in our motorhome. It is perfect, it has all the information needed for anyone with a large vehicle to plan a safe route . Wish I had bought one years ago.

I would agree wholeheartedly with the reviewers who say this is a good atlas - it's an excellent atlas, with loads of detail, and every little road and hamlet shown. It's also of interest to all drivers, as everyone benefits from this scale.
The problem is the index. Example: I was trying to find Alford in Aberdeenshire. The place wasn't on the page specified. Then I noticed that both Alford, Somerset, and Alford, Lincolnshire, were described in the index as being on the same page (page 2) - and that page was one of Cornwall! In other words, the index can't be relied upon.
I love this atlas, but I always make sure that I find places of interest, or destinaions, in some other way.

Not that great!
Not impressed with this product and I returned it to Amazon in the end. I found the product to be out of date on some of the bridge heights. Read more

Weighty Tome
Very informative - but BIG. You need strong hands and a large place to put this book. It's not going to fit in the glove compartment. Read more
