Bought this for my sons third birthday, as he had been asking for a lightsaber for months. Definitely the best present on the day! Having mastered the spring action operation in minutes and he was away. Needless to say no one else was allowed to even hold it for a minute. The novelty has now worn off (as it does with 3 year olds), but it still gets played with once a week. Good sound effects, which are movement sensitive. The paint on the switch has started to chip off a bit, but otherwise it has survived well.

My son asked father christmas for this and being a good mummy i bought it without too much thought. Beware, the lightsabre is sprung action. So far we have managed to avoid any serious mishaps, but i am sure many an injury has presented to the nations accident and emergency departments as a result of this toy.
From a childs point of view this is a fantastic chance to act out favorite scenes of star wars, especially if combined with the voice changing clone troopers helmet.

Bought for my 5 year old son for Christmas. He loves it and looks the total part with his stormtrooper helmet on! Good buy
