Excellent songwriting on this album. Rosie Brown's voice is seductive and wonderfully round and mellow; her lyrics range from gentle love poem to surreal novella. A great band, too - good production, good sound, superb guitars and double bass. If you liked Norah Jones or Suzanne Vega, listen to this one.

Brilliant album - deserves more recognition,

Saw her live - the audience numbered about 30 so it was a real treat to have a personal performance. First track especially good but really it's all a good listen - as far as I'm concerned you won't be disappointed and it'll be in my CD player for quite a few weeks!

I love this album, in fact all of Rosie Brown's albums. Her voice is wonderful, the songs are all beautiful, and her musical partnership with guitarist Bernd Rest produces a very special quality, with his playing and production making atmospheric listening of the highest order. Highly recommended.
