The reigns are very basic - which I think is all that is necessary. They are cheap, the material seems to be hard-wearing and basically the product does what it says on the tin. A good buy.

Using this walking harness gives little ones a bit of freedom while keeping safe. they can walk "on their own" while you keep them safe. I used this type when my children were small - now they get them for their children. The harness is great and fits well, washable too. Well made and a very good price.

Robust and lightweight - do exactly what they say. Now our little one is toddling these give him the freedom to run around us as we walk without putting him in danger. There are even two length settings so you can adjust according to how adventurous and dexterous your little one is.

This harness does the job and I find it useful. It is more basic than the harness I had for my own children many years ago but i suppose a leather harness with a motif on the front would now be considered 'naff'! I use this harness not so much for lengthy walks but for keeping my granson safe when I need to use a cash point, or just get to a shopping trolley etc and it isn't worth using a pushchair.

I was a bit 'anti-reins' until I could no longer keep hold of my lively toddler who wants to walk everywhere whilst 7 mths pregnant myself! Now I realise they're invaluable! These are great, secure without being bulky or obstructive and my daughter doesn't mind wearing them at all, in fact I think she really likes them as it makes her feel independent but gives me security and peace of mind. Good value- highly recommended

I bought this for my two year old grandson to wear when we go out together and for his mother to use as she is expecting her second child soon. He can dart away very quickly and I wanted to take no unnecessary risks. Unlike a backpack rein, he can wear the Clippasafe comfortably in his push chair or his car seat, not as an alternative to the straps with those but in addition. When he is getting in and out he is most likely to dash off somewhere. No problems with persuading him to wear them and once the initial adjustment was made to fit him, no problems with fastening and unfastening the harness. Occasionally he decides he will not walk and the reins allow me to wait while he sits on the ground and then changes his mind. Brilliant!

I was totally against the idea of walking my toddler like a dog on a lead but I must admit these reins are a god send. I'm currently 8 months pregnant with second child so bending down to hold toddlers hand is difficult. It also stops him from running away from me as he knows my mobility is restricted. I highly recommend these reins and it teaches him to listen but doesnt restrict his freedom and new found independance. I'm now a total convert to the use of reins and my son has no issue with being put into them. He actually brings them to you when you tell him that we are going out.
