By putting these, or any other socket covers in your UK power sockets, you have over-ridden the safety features which make UK sockets already safe by design, and made your children less safe.
UK sockets have a shutter which covers the live and neutral contacts until a plug is inserted. Socket covers provide your child with a tool to get around these safety features in a number of ways.
Don't waste your money on these items - you don't need them at best. At worst you have provided your kids with a dangerous toy.
A search for Fatally Flawed on the internet will take you to a site illustrating the problems with socket covers.

The clipasafe plug covers are the best I have seen. They are easy to use, have a simple look so they dont stand out and best of all they are easy for the adult to take out by simply interting one pin of a plug to remove. I have two small boys who are pretty much able to take apart anything, but these have stayed secure. Great!
Great value, very safe, no way tiny hands can remove these plug covers. Second time I have purchased these (bought more for grandparents house).

Great product
Discrete looking and easy to remove with the plug, no broken fingernails. Would recommend these since little one is unable to pull htem out of the wall but Mummy can with the plug!

rubbish buy
I bought these for a toddler group and had to throw them out. They needed a hammer to put into sockets and very difficult to remove. A total waste of money. B&Qs are much better.

There are a couple of choices for socket covers, I made correct choice, not only do they do what they are made to do, but they look ok too.

Easy to slot into sockets and pop out easily using the handy little hole on the underside.

Good buy
They do just the job that they are meant to and even my 12yr old struggles to get them out, not too easy to put in though.

Useful if you need to occasionally use the plug socket

Clipsafe socket covers
The top prong is tappered at the top, therefore when try to insert them into the socket the will not go into the socket.
