My son sat watching me use this latch and then worked it out very quickly. It's not quite tight enough to stop him from getting into my hifi cabinet.
He's now 2 and can open it easily.

I made the mistake of buying many of these things to baby-proof kitchen and living room, I wish I had bought just one to try it first.
It is indeed easy to place and doesn't look too bad, but those are about the only pros.
It is hard to open with one hand, and even harder to close again.
It doesn't stick to every surface, so beware... it may be totally useless.
I've had them in place for a few days, and I keep all of the locks open unless my daughter is around, which is not the safest thing to do.
I gave two stars and not one just because it's done its job so far, but I'm not sure how long it will last.
Wouldn't buy them again.

I bought one of these for my fridge. It was fantastic for all of 48hrs but then it came unstuck and doesn't re-stick. Less use than an ornament now.

Don't bother!
Very disappointed. Admittedly very cheap but can't actually undo the clip at all! Adult proof as well as child proof!

Does a job but
This fits and locks my freezer but it is so stiff and tight to open and close that it is a nuisance. I have got the toilet lock one on the fridge which is infinately superior.

poor
adhesive wore off, stiff plastic fiddly, verging on almost unopenable at times....especially if you are a female with nails. Its already in the bin after three weeks.

My windows are PVC and open outwards from the bottom and all the other window latches didnt work. Bought these and they work a treat. Are supposed to be for cupboards etc. Read more
