We have about 10 of these locks in our kitchen where the cabinets have double handles and they are excellent. They've been on for over 12 months, easy to remove (for adults!) and have been perfect at keeping little hands out of the cupboards. A simple press release to open the catches mean we hardly know they are even there but neither our child or friends children have ever been able to open the cupboards, work out how to open the catch or break them (see other reviewer)!

These seem quite good on first use but the central bar is made of plastic and easily breaks. The first one lasted 2 weeks. A toddler could easily snap this off.

Very effective and well worth the money. My daughter thinks it is now a game to lock the cupboards after I have been in them, even though it keeps her out of them, so safety and entertainment all rolled into one! Also easy to undo with one hand, so not as inconvenient as some of the locks that fit inside the doors.
