Product Description

Review

''Students and nurses will find it helpful and easy to use'' --Nursing and Midwifery Council

''All healthcare workers will find this book relevant, from healthcare assistants seeking information on normal physiological signs to experienced practitioners seeking guidance on the interpretation of blood results. It will be particularly useful for those who are newly qualified, returning, or undergoing supervised practice. As an educational tool, it will also support learning in practice and practitioners who are mentoring. Overall this is a useful text in an accessible format.'' --Nursing Standard

Simple, small and easy to understand.

Has all the basic general quick reference nursing information needed. As a community nurse some of the knowledge on biochemistry and ECG etc is easily forgotten as it's not something you come into contact with frequently but it's still something you should know about, and I wanted something that was quick reference, this will be perfect to keep in my diary to help with re-jogging the old memory on occasions its needed- its also got emergency algorithms which are really useful, The Bristol stool scale, catheter care and physiological norms.

This item exceeded expectations and will be well used- perfect size too - and WIPE-ABLE.

A lovely little spiral notebook full of all the info that is usually dotted around a ward, yet is never to hand when you need to know it!
Its hard wearing, and well produced. I have no doubt it will survive being in my pocket when I'm working on shifts for years to come!

My only issue would be the price. It seems a little expensive at nearly £9. However, if the price is due to the quality of publishing as well as the content, then I can forgive that, just.

Great for nursing students (like me) or people who always seem to forget stuff (like me!).

Ok for basic nursing information, good as a student and has some helpful body charts. I have recommended it to students to give them a little more confidence on the wards.
