I couldnt believe how cheap this book is! I have spent a lot of money on big thick hardback neurology text books and rarely got past the first chapter. This book is nothing short of a godsend! It is however fairly basic (if Neuroanatomy can be deemed basic!)so isnt a substitute for the afore mentioned books. I use it constantly as a review and to lay some foundations before I tackle the really in depth stuff. The pictures are basic, but clear and understandable and prevent the reader getting lost or confused. I suggest any student who has to study neuroanatomy at what ever level buys this book, i just wish i had bought it earlier! Good luck and enjoy!

This book is a great way to get your head round the basics of clinical neuroanatomy. It is written in such a way that you can actually read it cover-to-cover, and contains clinical questions to test understanding.

For the price, i was surprised to see how small and little the book was. That said, it's also surprising how much i learned from such a small book in such a short time. You could go through thick textbooks and read all these difficult terms and difficult concepts and not really remembering or understanding them afterwards. This book managed to deliver the basics of neuroanatomy and jolt the stuff I've studied before but forgotten. I think it's a must-buy for students in clinical years as an adjunct where you just need to remind yourself of the basics to understand the clinical aspects of a disease. But it should definitely not replace a proper neuroanatomy textbook for those still going through medical sciences.

Great for initiation in the subject
While this book obviously does not contain enough information for anyone to do well in medical school Neuroanatomy courses, it is a fantastic, extremely friendly -- and very funny... Read more
