Product Description

If you climb aboard the poet's bus he will take you on a conducted tour through a variety of human experience, startling and striking with vivid scenes of our modern age. It is so refreshing to find a poet that actually uses rhyme-and uses it effectively. 'Brickwork' has a solid construction with a deep resonance of meaning-and the tall 'slim' construction of 'City of Glass' (with its short concise lines) seems to reflect the transparent glass skyscrapers that it describes! I have to say I think David Navsa's poems are brilliant! They are sharp, clear snapshots of the modern age-hence the poem 'Photograph' is aptly titled, as is the apt sub-title of the collation: Pictures in Verse.

"David Navsa is a wordsmith who is inspired by life and its effect on people and events, whether spiritual or emotional; love, insanity, fantasy, and a wide variety of subjects are captured in a veritable play on words. An imaginative and versatile poet, he can write on demand on virtually any subject!"-Charles Muller, Diadem Books
