In the 1960`s I own a LP vinyl with Cliff, and the name of this LP was Cliff Sings. For the last 2 years I have been looking for this LP,but I could not find it,well I could not have played it either, everything now is on CD,but just to have it would have been enough.
But after browsing here at Amazon guess what happen to me, I found my LP now on a CD box with two discs,I can`t say how happy I get, I had to look at the song tracks and all my favorite song was on this CD box.

It was some spesiell songs I haven`t heard since 60`s-70`s, and my favorite songs are Here Comes Summer,I`ll String Along With You,Embraceable You,As Time Goes By,The Touch Of Your Lips,Twenty Flight Rock,Pointed Toe Shoes, Mean Woman Blues,I`m Walking,I don`t Know Why,Little Things Mean A Lot,Somewhere Along The Way,That`s my Desire, this was from the disc 1,with 6 bonus songs, many of these songs I heard them last time in the 70`s, and listen to them again now was just a travel back to my teenager years, they are so lovely, beatiful singing of Cliff. Disc 2 are more of his rock and roll songs, like Apron Strings,Donna,I Got a Feeling,Ready Teddy,Driftin`(instrumential)and many many more, and 6 bonus tracs on disc 2 too.

I will say to you all Cliff fans not only at my age,but all of you,buy it,play it,and enjoy!!!
Like the big Cliff fan I am, I bought Cliff Sings Again,of course these two albums is very much alike, but I don`t mind, why not? you can`t get enough of Cliff Richard

This Not Now Music 2 CD set presents 2 Cliff Richard formative albums dating from 1959 and both were produced by Norrie Paramor along with 12 bonus (singles) tracks. The attractive packaging is sure to catch the eye of buyers as it depicts a youthful Cliff and here is the perfect opportunity to own these early recordings.
CD1 comprises the album "Cliff Sings" that was recorded in September 1959 and was a very different product to the earlier live album presented here on CD2 and that had been recorded in February 1959. This new album had Cliff with The Shadows performing 16 songs and a mix of standards and modern material which was something he had not done before. If you remember Cliff in the film "Serious Charge" then you will also recall the song "Livin' Doll" and that is just one of the bonus tracks.
The live album captured on CD2 was released as "Cliff" and is very much a teenage focused product and perhaps this is why Norrie Paramor wanted the "Cliff Sings" to appeal to a wider audience. I'm sure that Sir Cliff was grateful for the advice and experience of his producer as Cliff was to become a great all round performer. The live album is with The Drifters and there is an Elvis and Ricky Nelson feel to the session. Just listen to those girls scream! The bonus tracks date from 1958 & 1959. The total running time is approx 102 minutes. The sound quality for all of these vintage recordings is excellent. The liner notes are by Michael Heatley and Glenn Gretlund produced the compilation. This is a must have Cliff release.

I was going to purchase this CD collection since I owned most of the music on vinyl LP's in the 1960's however on previewing the music I discovered that some prat has mixed in a lot of screeching that is not on the original versions. I will not be purchasing this CD as I can do without the screeching.

Label names get crazier and this new series of mainly twofers is not as much a label -as these are the EMI recordings-but just a name which makes no sense.
Here are the first 2 Cliff Richard albums with the attendant singles added.
My favorite one was always High Class Baby and up to mid 1959 Cliff was a straight ahead rock'n'roller.Living Doll turned him into high school pop and made the American top 30-Cliff toured there at the time and was bottom of the bill to Frankie Avalon!
The 2nd album was live in the studio
