Format:DVD
I went along to see Sir Cliff with my Mum (who is a die hard fan) and I have to admit that I was not expecting to enjoy it myself. However, it was a fantastic show and I would highly recommend it. James Ingram completely blew my socks off with his outstanding vocals and rendition of 'Just Once'. The band and singers supporting the acts were just phenomenal, especially the guitar and flute players. Cliff was on form and at 71 could put a lot of these current singers to shame with his no nonsense attitude of getting on the stage on time, no messing about, no introduction - just singing, a little bit of dancing and some chat inbetween songs. I can see now why he has lasted so long in the business. If you know a Cliff fan who couldn't make it to the show live, then I recommend this as a Christmas present - the only negative comment I can make is that watching the DVD really makes you appreciate how good everything sounded live - you can't beat it but it's a close second.

I just can't believe my eyes and ears.
This is cliff's best show for ages (they are all fabulous!!!)
He doesn't grow older,his voice is better and better and the whole production is a must.
If there was an Oscar for this kind of things,this one deserved it for sure!!!

Before The Beatles there was Cliff and after The Beatles and everyone else there was still Cliff. The Soulicious album and tour just shows how ambitious this man is..after more than 50 years at the top he is still the absolute professional and still coming up with something new and exciting and still the most energetic and enthusiastic live performer that there is. This title deserves to be the best seller of the year and it deserves and award...its a brilliant production. Cliffs voice sounds amazingly fresh especially on the songs from the new album..and he raises his game when singing with some of the greatest voices and names in the business and theres some fun interplay and interaction with all of the other artists. If you don't smile when Percy Sledge and Marilyn McCoo Billy Davis jnr Lamont Dozier Freda Payne, Jaki Graham and James Ingram come on stage..theres something seriously wrong with you. All the guest artists are superb Jaki Graham and James Ingram are not on the album provide humourous and musical highlights and they added to the show greatly. And Cliff gives respectful treatment to all his old hits. And some have taken on a new life! Check out the soulicious version of Miss You Nights..wow! I was starting to tire of that song and now I want to repeat play it. When the show closes with the lush Always And Forever you'll be blown away and ant to watch the whole thing all over again. The DVD is a first class production the sound and picture quality is top drawer. Theres no sign of a Blu Ray release and thats a minus..but lets not mark it down for something it isn't. This is a 5 star entertainment. I got the single disc and now I'm going to order the special edition for the extra bits. Don't even hesitate to buy this title..stick this in your player and sit back and be entertained by Britains King of Pop and Rock. Appreciate this legend while he's still around.

The "old" Cliff does it again. Always stronger and good. He still is our old rocker. May God bless him with a long and healthy life.

cliff soulicious tour
I was not too impressed with the cd. I was hoping Cliff would have done the many soul hits with all the artists on the tour. Mostly new songs were written especially for the cd. Read more

The Soulicous Concert is one of Cliff's best. This DVD is marvellous. A must for all Cliffs' fans. I know I am going to play it over and over

The Soulicious Tour DVD is one of the best Cliff Richard DVDs. A very nice format with other artists singing as well. Very entertaining well done Cliff.
