This book is a great edition to my vast selection of COunselling Books and has helped me to revisit the orriginal ideas of counselling and the methods that are needed to be with the client during therapy. Carl Rogers writes in a clear descriptive way allowing the reader the ability to learn from him without the boring aspect of studying.
I have read a number of books into Person Centred Therapy and this book was a later edition to my counselling resources. However I am extremely glad to add this book to the list of Counselling and Therapy. It certainly assists me in my reading of more advanced Therapy books like the book below.

However with my view that simply understanding the concepts is not enough to be able to have the knowledge and skills to be a therapist and that the need for wider reading and constand development is crucial to becoming the best therapist. This book certainly helps me to carry on my development and adds vibrance and new insight to the workings involved in PCT. It demonstrates how PCT can be utlised in groups, with children and looks in depth at the 19 propositions which are a commonly forgotten aspect of PCT, that seems to get lost behind the Core Conditions.
