    I have just received this item from Amazon. It was £10 cheaper than QVC and free postage as well.
    I plugged it in and it backed up all my files, including over 1000 photos and videos in about 4 minutes. Absolutely superb piece of kit.
    No need for all those memory sticks. Also easy to organise the files whilst it is plugged in. Nice looking and well made in black and chrome.
    Highly recommended.

    I bought this item last November and am very pleased with it. However, I do have just one complaint, and to me it's a big one - although it allows you to back up from up to 10 different PCs and/or laptops, it does NOT let you transfer information between different machines ie you can only put back information to the machine from which you did your backup.

    This is no use if you are buying another machine.

    I was going to buy one for my son for Christmas - needless to say, I had second thoughts.
