Having borrowd a memory foam pillow for my baby son I purchased 1 for my mum for when she babysits. The pillow helps prevent flat spots on babies head and is warm around their head, which I feel aids peaceful sleep. The pillow case is breathable and easily cleaned. I would recommend waiting til baby is a month or older before using memory foam pillow.

Love the pillow and the cases but my 2 existing ones bobbled. Not great taking into account how much they cost :( Be very careful washing them, only with light fabrics and probably better by hand. Also when out and about, put it into another protective case. Other than that perfect product.
