Helps protect your child from the impact of a fall against the hearth of your fireplace. The Clevamama™ cushiony Fireplace Edge Guard absorbs impact and helps prevent serious injury from knocks and falls. Full length 3M double-sided tape keeps the Clevamama™ Fireplace Edge Guard securely fastened and removes quickly and easily when it is no longer needed. This package contains five 18” sections (7.5 feet total) and two corner pieces that will accommodate most fireplaces. Simply trim pieces to the desired length.

The Clevamama Fireplace Edge Guard will help to protect your child from the impact of a fall against the hearth of your fireplace The cushiony edge guard absorbs the force of the fall and helps to prevent serious injuries. It fixes to the hearth of your fireplace by means of double sided 3M tape and can be easily removed when no longer needed. It comes with five 46cm lengths that can be trimmed to the required length and two X-Large Corner Cushions that will fit most fireplaces. The material used is fire retardant, non-toxic, latex and phthalates free.

This is a really great idea for keeping your little one safe around the fireplace. I bought it thinking to myself that "ok it might not look pretty but neither will my baby if she knocks her face against the hearth". But it actually looks a lot better than it does in the picture. It's really quite soft and well padded and is very easy to apply. It is stuck on with double sided tape which is included. It also seems as though it's going to stay securely in place for as long as needed unlike other baby safety products that I have purchased in the recent past. There was more than enough to go round my standard sized hearth and I have kept the unused pieces in case I need to use them in any other non babyproof parts of the house.

Easy to fit - though be aware it does expand and contract with temperature so leave some small gaps if fitting it when cold.

Really easy to install, looks neat and discrete, and protects your little one from those sharp edges. Basically does the job as described. Would defnitely recommend to others.

... The corners are not the same size as the main strips, giving the whole thing a very disjointed look. Shame really.

Does what it should
This is great for the edge of our fireplace, very cushioned and easy to stick on. Can cut to size very easily too.

fire protection for kids and babys
good standard of material and very cheap to would recommend to anyone,looks ok and acqually glends in with the colour of my fire place

Nothing is going to protect your little one completely against the fireplace but this certainly helps and gives some piece of mind
