Extra deep pan with encapsulated bases, complete with non-stick egg poacher cups, lift out stainless steel egg poacher cup trays with phenolic knobs, riveted hollow stainless steel handles and toughened glass lids with steam vents. The deep pan may also be used without the egg poacher cup holders as covered sauté pans. This poacher has a fifteen year guarantee and is dishwasher safe. Gift boxed.

This practical and versatile 6 cup Egg Poacher from the Clearview range is ideal for gently poaching eggs. The non-stick cups neatly sit into the lift out cup tray, allowing the pan and vented lid to be used independently as a Sauté Pan. I've never been able to make a decent poached egg. I'm a great cook but poached eggs were always a puzzle. I've tried all the methods and I just can't do it! So..... I thought I'd get a poaching pan. Read the reviews on here (for the 4 egg version) and didn't hold out too much I'd be successful but I'll try anything. The reason this product doesn't get a 5-star rating for me is because it didn't come with any 'how to cook your egg' instructions. Just a pan care leaflet.

So having read all the reviews on here about sticking eggs, I decided to use common sense and add just a very tiny amount of Rice Bran Oil to each pod before adding the egg. Once the eggs were cooked, I very gently loosend the edges of each egg - a good move because they then slipped out easily.

At last, perfect poached eggs. I'm really pleased!!

This is an excellent addition to the kitchen when you have two or more people wanting poached eggs - always found with my husband and dauughter I had to cook my eggs after theirs with the 4 egg poacher - this way we all eat together!
