The Clearblue DIGITAL Ovulation Test detects the rise of the ovulation hormone LH 24-36 hours prior to ovulation and identifies the 2 best days to conceive in a given cycle. Making love during these 2 days gives you your best chance of conceiving.
The Clearblue DIGITAL Ovulation Test is the most effective home ovulation test kit***. It gives you clear digital results, so there's no need to interpret the lines and gives you more test sticks than any other brand, making it more effective at detecting your LH surge.
You use the Clearblue DIGITAL Ovulation Test once a day at the same time each day, on the days around the time when you expect your LH surge. It identifies the days in your cycle when you are most likely to conceive.
How does it work? The Clearblue DIGITAL Ovulation Test helps you to pinpoint the 2 fertile days in your cycle by identifying a sudden surge in luteinising hormone (LH) in your body with a simple urine test. LH is the hormone that triggers the release of an egg from your ovary. This release – ovulation – usually occurs approximately 24 to 36 hours after the LH surge. If you use it each day on the days around the time in your cycle when you expect the LH surge, you can predict the 2 days each cycle when you are most fertile and therefore most likely to get pregnant.
How can ovulation tests maximise my chances of getting pregnant? The time when you are most fertile is on the day the LH surge is detected and the day after. You are most likely to get pregnant if you make love on these days. Clearblue DIGITAL Ovulation Tests detect this LH surge, and therefore maximise your chances of conceiving.

Directions
Please note: these are abbreviated instructions. Always read the in-pack leaflet before carrying out a test.The Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test is very easy to use. When you’re ready to test remove a Test Stick from its foil wrapper. Before applying urine to the Test Stick it must be inserted into the Test Holder.
The Test Stick and Test Holder are marked with pink arrows that must be aligned to ensure correct insertion. The Test Stick clicks into place and a 'Test Ready' symbol appears on the Test Holder display.
When the ‘Test Ready’ symbol appears, you simply hold the Absorbent Sampler pointing downwards in your urine stream for 5 to 7 seconds. Alternatively, you can collect a sample of urine in a clean dry container and immerse just the absorbent sampler in the collected sample for 15 seconds.
Keep the Absorbent Sampler pointing downwards or lay the Test flat. After 20 to 40 seconds, the ‘Test Ready’ symbol will flash to show that the test is working. Do not eject the Test Stick. Replace the cap and then wipe off any excess urine.
Within 3 minutes, the display will show your result.

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to with this product as it worked so well! We decided to try for a baby this year so I decided to take the plunge and spend the money out on this clever little kit instead of guessing which days I was ovulating! You get a digital cartridge as well as 7 sticks. You can't buy the sticks separately so be prepared to buy a new pack if you go over the 7 sticks or packs are sold with 20 sticks. I only tested once a day and even though some people have recommended against it I tested first thing in the morning as you shouldn't have had a wee for around 4 hours before so I found this the easiest time of the day! I usually have a 29 day cycle and started on day 11...and I waited! I started getting sick of the little blank circles and started to wonder whether I was doing it right and whether I was ever going to get a smilie face! On day 16 and only 1 stick left in the box I got my smilie face - phew! at least I was ovulating! I had a little dance around the bedroom and got errr..down to it that very evening! I have just tested with a Clearblue digital pregnancy test 5 days before my period was due and ta da it flashed up 'pregnant 1-2 weeks' nearly 3-4 pregnant!!!! OMG!! I absolutely can't believe it but we are over the moon, I know it is very early days and my husband has told me to calm down on several occasions so I am just hoping everything will be ok and we get to the first stage mark!

I have just started using Clomid and used these sticks from day 7-14 and got a smilly face on day 14. We tried every other day util day 15. Really easy to use hopefully it will result in me being pregnant i will find out in one weeks time.

I bought these tests 2 weeks ago, started to use these sticks on the 17th, I got the little smiley face on the 20th :). We tried on the 20th, 21st and 22nd!!! In few days I will take a pregnancy test ... and hopefully see an other little face smiling me else if I will have to buy an other Clearblue Digital Ovulation Testing Kit for my next cycle!!! Anyway, the test on itself works, after that it's up to nature :)
