Steve Marriott is one of the unsung vocal heroes of the british rnb explosion of the 60's. This album features Steve in a variety of vocal guises from blues, soul, to out and out rock and even a touch of country bluegrass.

The album features an interesting mixture of self compositions and unusual covers. If you consider Steve Marriott to be a rock singer then listen to the gospel tinged `Lord help me hold out' or the funky sounding `Don't take but a few minutes' to realise how versatile the man was.

A great talent sadly missed.
