I had wanted a cookery book stand, but didn't want anything expensive or fancy. It's delightfully unobtrusive and does the job. I even ordered another one for friends; paying slightly more. Just remember to peel off the protective film when it arrives.

Bought this as a stocking filler last Christmas. Its ok and fit for purpose but is not quite wide enough to protect larger recipe books from splashes (So I'm told - not from my own limited cooking experiences you understand!)

I find this too narrow for most of my cookbooks, or I have to really crease the binding in order to get certain cookbooks to fit it.
