YOUGHAL, up to the beginning OF THE 20TH CENT.PRODUCED POTTERY AND BRICKS,

in some 40 brickfields and 16 potteries. THE book not only covers the field of 18th AND 19th cent.Youghal Pottery Bricking but the general conditions prevailing in Britain as well.

The social environement and the methodology of the Industry of this period

is well drawn ; the book is very readable and illustrated as well as instructive and has a good index--- is very well researched, sourced and notated.
