I also felt that Clay Marble was absolutely stupendous. It teaches me to believe i myself, and that there is always a symbol of hope in our lives. It also talks about the horrors of war and what happens to the inncent civilians as well as the people fighting in it...

I WAS UNABLE TO PUT DOWN THIS STORY OF THE WAR TORN CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCED BY ONE OF MANY OF THOSE GROWING UP IN CAMBODIA. THIS BOOK GIVES A BREIF DESCRIBTION OF WHAT WAS GOING ON THERE IN TERMS OF THE DIFFERENT FRACTIONS FIGHTING SURROUNDED BY THE ABSORBING STORY OF ONE CHILD'S EXPERIENCE'S. THIS BOOK TAKES YOU EVERYWHERE EMOTIONALLY AND IS HEARTENING AS WELL AS COMPELLING - MORE WORLD LEADERS SHOULD READ THE FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE'S OF PEOPLE WHO'S LIVES ARE SHAPED BY WAR

This books shows great meaning in kids who take for granted. Americans don't know how lucky they are to not be in a war. This book deserves a 10.9. It's great!
