100% for Japanese Red Cross,

I have just heard two tracks on ClassicFM radio and they were exquisite performances - 100% of money raised goes to the Japanese Red Cross - ironically while listening I hear Japan has just suffered another quake of 7.4. So much destruction... may music heal and the money generated from this collection provide support to those still acutely in need of food, water and shelter.

Selection of pieces interesting, some are mediocre in recording quality, not helped by Classic FM publishing a download at 192 Kbps instead of 320 kbps.

I heard an advertisement for this on Classic FM in the UK, and I downloaded it although normally I would prefer to buy a 'real' CD. I was glad I did. The music is exquisite and beautifully reproduced. All the profits are donated to Japan Tsunami relief so it is a good cause too. If I have any critiscism of this album it is that it is not available on a hard-copy CD.
