Product Description

1950s Chrome Diner Payphone Telephone. Bring some classic retro design in to your home or office with the all American diner telephone. This American 3 slot style payphone was first introduced in the 1950s and remained virtually unchanged until 1965. This appropriately christened prepay-style pay station will take you back to the days of phone booths and 10 cent calls. The design classic has been dragged in to the modern age with features including push button technology with authentic rotary look, redial button, ringer volume on/off switch, tone/pulse switch, ear piece volume control and can be wall or desk mountable. While you dont have to pay for your calls with this phone now, you can still enjoy the functional coin slots complete with jingle as your money is deposited into the coin bank, lock and key supplied, in the base unit. This faithfully reproduced 1950s diner telephone gives you great retro styling together with modern day quality and at a great price too. Ah, Happy Days. The Chrome Diner Payphone Telephone measures approx 230mm W x 465mm H x 165mm D and would look great in any office, games room, cafe, bar or kitchen. Simply plug into a standard UK phone socket.

Cool In The Kitchen 3 Feb 2010
We have this fab phone in our kitchen. Living in the country we get quite a few power cuts and need a phone which does not require electricity. It looks fab with all our stainless steel appliances. Everyone admires it and it has such a long cable I can walk round the whole of my large kitchen whilst usung it.

Just Love it! 6 Oct 2011
this arrived really quickly, and looks fab in our new kitchen. Everybody that sees it comments on it, and apart from just looking great it works as well! Absolutely delighted

Loved this phone. Looked superb in our kitchen and the long cord was great for enabling you to carry on with your tasks whilst chatting away. However, stopped working just out of the twelve month warranty period. Did buy another but on arrival it was a very poor copy of this one so have reverted back to a normal phone for the time being
