The second Goosebumps book and the second one I've read. (though this is the one and only GB book I had previously read years ago). All was fresh to me as I didn't remember the story at all. I found this particularly well written having all the classic elements of a page-turner horror story. While also using the device of chapter cliffhanger endings to keep the young reader (and me) going on for just one more chapter. A one sitting read for me. I thought the mad scientist themed plot held together tightly only weakening for a much too quick nicey, unbelievable wrap up. But then satisfying with the typical eerie horror story "whahaha" ending.
