I usually hate cases... i buy them thinking i will use them, find them annoying and take them off after a month...then drop my mp3 player. However, this it very subtle. It fits perfectly and still allows you to be in awe of the slender style of the classic. This case is how all cases should be. If you want to keep your ipod in good condition.

This is easily the cheapest genuine leather iPod case available. It has a nice finish and is about as thin as such a product can get. It comes with a stud on the back for attaching the included belt clip (which I won't be using). The flip cover secures via magnets which is nice and modern. There is an opening at the top and bottom for earphones and the data/power connector.
My Belkin TuneFM cannot plug-in whilst the iPod is in this case. Other FM transmitters may not have this problem and also you probably don't need your iPod in a case whilst its in the car.
Overall a great buy especially at this price.

I can't see the point of paying any more than this for an iPod case. This is a nice design and fits my new 120Gb iPod Classic perfectly. I'm not sure how durable it will prove but it does the job of protecting my iPod from scratches while I'm on the move. You can connect the USB cable to the iPod and charge and sync it while it's in the case but you have to take the case off to use an iTrip or docking station.

Reading the vast amount of positive reviews, I'm left feeling confused. The case arrived today and I tried it, but I can tell immediately that it hasn't been very well made. The hole for the USB connection is quite far out of alignment, as is the hole for the headphone port. The fact that nearly nobody else has complained about this makes me wonder if this is the same product.
Fortunately, even though the holes are out of alignment, with a bit of twisting of the case you can plug in USB and headphones with relative ease, but I still feel rather ripped off. In addition, the supposedly-compact case has a belt clip on the back, which I imagine will be useful to some, but an annoyance to most as it can't be removed. (It was never shown in the photos.) If the case was designed slightly differently I'd likely give it four stars.
I guess the moral of the story here is to not always go straight for the products with the most good reviews. I do not recommend this case, and I highly suggest searching around for a better one.

I had to cut a slit in the top of the ipod case as the hole for the heaphones was not in the right place. The leather looks a bit cheap too.
I wouldn't recommend this case - spend a bit more money and get one of better quality.

Case is good except for the stud to attach to belt clip. DO NOT USE BELT CLIP. It is TOTALLY USELESS. I was walking along with the iPod on my belt, attached using the belt clip. My wrist just brushed my iPod and it came of the clip and sailed through the air......... and landed in the canal. £180 written off!

Firstly, the headphone jack hole in the leather is slightly offline, which means I needed to punch another hole into so I could plug my headphones in. Not a big problem.
My main gripe is that the case has scratched the back of the ipod. The belt holder clip at the back pushes onto a pin, which exerts enough force onto the ipod to leave a series of vertical scratches down the back, when it's placed into the case. Also whilst the ipod has been in the case for sometime the small amounts of movement in the case mean that circular scratches have been formed.
So whilst you think you may be protecting your IPOD, it will just in fact ruin it. I recommend that you spend the extra money and buy something of superior quality.

This could have been a great case for the price as the features and general quality were good, I especially liked the magnetic inserts to keep the case closed. However; it did have one major flaw. When I unpacked it and secured my 120GB classic into it, I found that the hole for the earphones in the ipod, didn't line up with the hole in the case properly. However much I tried to stretch, twist and manouvre it about, I couldn't get it to the position where the headphones would plug in fully. This might just be a bit of variation in the manufacturing process and others may be fine, but in my case (pardon the pun) I can't give it more than 2 stars.
