Please be careful and skeptical about the advice in this book 23 Jun. 2014

Teenagers are young and vulnerable. Not all parents are responsible, and not all librarians are irresponsible, but as a parent and a person who worked with the author in a library system, I suggest the first line of appropriate supervision in evaluating children's reading choices should be a parent rather than a librarian, as helpful and sensible as most of them are.

This is an excellent resource for teachers to motivate students to read the classics. Great ideas and I like the format.
