The synopsis gives a good overview of this book, and i was certainly not disappointed with this book, which, for the photography alone is well worth the cover price.
Most of the bicycles pictured are found at the Bicycle museum of America, New Brenen, Ohio, and for folk like me who may never have opportunity to visit that museum, then a book like this is so appreciated.
The photographs are quite exquisite, and some of the bikes produced, and preserved, are quite awesome! (for example, the Bowden Spacelander, designed to take you on a trip around the universe!)
There are some lesser known companies offerings included as well, such as Whizzer, as well as the more household names, such as Scwinn.
There are quite a number of Bike books available, so like me, you may find it hard knowing what to purchase. Well, i would say, going on price alone, and having purchased this particular book, that it is good value for money, and you will not be disappointed i am sure with this book if you decided to buy a copy.
