5.0 out of 5 stars A Oldie but still a Goodie 3 May 2006
Format:DVD
I hate it when people moan on how out of date this brillant film is, how the moan on about how bad the visuals are, but with out this film and many other of Ray's film effects we would not have the likes of Peter Jacksons "King Kong" today.

Look at the films good points, good story, brillant actors, fanatastic monsters.

This film is a classic and should be respected as one.

Show it your children and let then marvel in a hey day of exellent films made to keep you on the edge of your seat as a child.

One of my all time greats and a treasured memory too.

2.0 out of 5 stars A very murky, grainy blu-ray transfer. 4 April 2010
Format:Blu-ray
I have a great deal of fondness for this film and bought this Blu-Ray on the presumption that the format would present it in it's best possible light. However from the opening shot onwards it became apparent I was destined to be dissapointed. It's very, very grainy. This is made considerably more noticeable in darker lit scenes which to my eyes looked simply terrible. One would expect the picture quality to take a dip during the scenes wherein the actors are composited with Harryhausen's stop-motion creations, but this Blu-Ray of Clash of the Titans looks consistently poor. Should be filed alongside Gangs of New York, 28 Days Later, Escape from New York and The French Connection as one of the poorest looking Blu-Rays currently available in the U.K. A shame.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Classic of all Classics 7 Aug 2002
Format:VHS Tape
If you like Greek Mythology and good-old-fashioned special effects al la HarryHausen, this is for you! An absolute classic. The Medusa scene is first class. In short, this is a great story for all ages, entertaining and with a good guy happy ending too.
