5.0 out of 5 stars Great Workout ********* 18 Jan 2011
Format:DVD
I am really impressed by this workout DVD. I had a baby 8 months ago. Pre-pregnancy I ran 5-6 times a week, was fit and had no issues with my weight. I had 2 stone to loose after having my gorgeous wee boy. I've never really tried exercise DVD's before- being a bit snobish about them- Clair's DVD has completely changed my mind. WOW- It's a great workout. I really feel like i've had a good workout afterwards. The DVD is fun and easy to follow. Clair and the trainers seem fun and friendly without being annoying. Most importantly- I've seen results that running alone can not produce. After just 1.5 weeks my bum as lifted (oh thank you Clair :-), my thighs are more tonned and I can see my abs). I feel great- and I actually look forward to doing the DVD. It gives me energy. I can also do this DVD when my baby is napping, as there is not to much jumping about and being noisy (unlike the only other Nell McAndrew DVD I own). WELL WORTH HE MONEY :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Going great so far 4 Jan 2011
Format:DVD
A couple of months ago I bought the Hannah Waterman DVD which I have enjoyed so far but I prefer Claire's in comparisson. This one is based upon the same principle of Interval Training and has 4 20minute work outs which look to burn about 250 calories each.
I find that the trainers ( although one is the same as Hannah's) tend to be much more interactive and more likeable. Claire is really sweet and unlike Hannah doesnt appear "cocky" during the DVD ( perhaps just my personal opinion). I like the different sections much more than Hannah's and to be honest although found them challenging, did not find them to be as difficult as Hannah's DVD. I find that the different levels at which you could work at are illustrated much more clearly than Hannah's Dvd also.
Although I could definitely feel the burn the day after , the workout did not exhaust me to the point of having to give up half way through. The different sections mean its really easy to pause at the end of each one or to fast forward to the sections you prefer.
For someone who is 3 stone overweight and probably as unfit as you could get I found this to be a really fab DVD to do in the privacy of my living room. I have previously tried the Pump it Up DVD which was too difficult to follow and to be honest the different "trainers" in their lyrcra and hot pants was just too much. I also tried Claire from Steps DVD which if you're not a Steps fan is simply irritating and nor Claire or the Trainer motivated me at all!

All in all 5 out of 5...I hope to see more results very soon. My arms and legs are definately toning up by the day!! ( I do 1-2 work outs 4 times a week)

5.0 out of 5 stars This has completly changed how I work out 15 Jan 2011
Format:DVD
I would never have thought to buy this DVD, i've always thought celeb DVD's were a waste of money cause lets face it, if we didn't have to work all the time, had a personal trainer and a dietician we could all look like them in a few months.
I've always bought the ministry of sound dance dvds as there fun with a good soundtrack and really get you moving.
I bought this DVD as it says you can burn 1000 calories a session (if you do all the sections in one go) I won't go into what all the sections are about as you can see that from other reviews on here.
The first time i used it i didn't feel like i had worked out cause i'm used to dancing around the front room for an hour, but the next day i ached in all the right places, did the dvd 2 more times that week and by the end of the week i had lost 3 1/2 lbs and i didn't even diet (last week i was still trying to get rid of all the chocolate and biscuits left over from christmas)Not sure what my weight loss will be this week but i'm hoping cause i've tried harder in my diet it will be even better.
I'm getting rid of all my dance dvds and replacing them with interval training one's and when i go to the gym i've stopped running on the treadmill for an hour and started using the moves from the dvd inbetween short sessions on the treadmill.
I've read the other reviews and yes it is repetative the soundtrack isn't that great but it works for me and at the end of the day your buying these dvds to get in shape and probably to lose weight and if the weight comes off your seeing results and that should be your motivation to stick with it.

If you have the time and space and the will power this is a great exercise workout. Good that personal trainers developed it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good DVD dont know if you would ever look as good as Clare
Good routine but it gets boring on your own I think to achieve this great body you need the personal trainer in person going through the moves with you to make most of them

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant workout - but be prepared to work hard!
I consider myself to be fit, but this DVD is very hard work! The high intensity bits are tough, and the toning exercises do just that. You will ache the next day! Read more
