This is discribed as a product for Amateur Film makers. In my opinion it is not. It is a toy. The clapper part just does not clap properly. The two pieces of wood are both twisted and bowed and do not make proper contact - apart for a small part of one edge. I would not recommend it if you want to use it in filming.
