5.0 out of 5 stars Another excellent book in the ongoing series, 11 Mar 2001
By caroline.bundy@virgin.net (England (near gloucester)) - See all my reviews
Excellent. Nothing else really can say it. Everything starts off right in a briliant history chapter which really brings to life the oft slated clan. The details on the Eldest of the clan are garanteed to make you shudder as they shed new light on this... creature. Details ranging from the Baali to Saulot himself are handled superbly. The next chapter gives you a new koldunic path, new discipline powers (inc. a couple of metapowers) and even some new details on the revenant lines! The details on the breakdown of the clan are another high point as well, with several well thought out niches for your characters. Even the final chapter, usually lackluster in these books, doesn't fail to shine with (shock) a few original templates! Pity the cristopher shy artwork is still so bland, but you can't have it all. If you are even considering playing a tzimisce you need this book. If your not, well, you need it anyway! Like malkavian before it, I truely would recomend this book to all, players and storytellers alike (although some st's might prefer to hold back some of the info - there are some real great metaplot enhancements here! Role on the final three!

3.0 out of 5 stars A reasonably good sourcebook, 18 May 2000
By A Customer
In its context as a sourcebook for players/gms, it is quite good. However, its not exactly for the beginner V:TM player, and some of the book is quite graphic in its nature. However, it is a means to an end, and in that fact, if you want to have a Tzimesce PC, then get this book. If you don't, then steer clear.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tzimisce are truely evil, 30 April 2009
I got this book recently and I can say I was not disappointed by it the book has the insight you need for to play as or use a Tzimisce in storys for vampire the masquerade or any old world of darkness story. They really show their colours in this book. The book has some disciplines over the 5 dot mark some are good some are not. If you like alien behaviors and darkness in a character Tzimisce clan are truely it apart from the baali bloodline and maybe followers of set this clan are truely it when it comes to being downright scary and evil so think of the potential of playing as one or running one in a game skies the limit. Its a must for anyone who plays or runs vampire the masquerade
