New and... well not improved... different and as good but..., 12 July 2002
This review is from: Clan Book: Brujah (Vampire: The Masquerade Clanbooks) (Paperback)
...this is the second and heavily revised, edition of the clan book, so you can hardly still call it the first clan book WW produced.
I bought the first ed book when it came out 'cos I was playing a Brujah character (my first VTM character) and bought the second ed version recently because my original one vanished mysteriously some years ago (such things happen when you trust fellow college students).
I noticed quite a bit of revision in the book. The history of the Brujah had changed and my character could no longer have his hard earned power "Scourge of Alecto" (unsure of spelling) because it had been edited out!
Setting all that aside, I must say that they kept the most important part of the history in. They paint a picture which fills out one of the most diverse, yet stereotyped clans in existence...
Read this book. It might make you think... and that's all we Brujah ask of you... for now.

Very interesting, 4 Sep 1998
By A Customer
While I had disliked the idea of Brujah characters usually, and though I may have bought this clanbook against my better judgement I was surprised. The Brujah have a history all their own and I especially thought it was interesting of how the American and European Brujah differ and why. Once again- in immersing myself in the fantastical world of VTM which is ingeniously interwoven into actual history, I learn more of the progress and history of the world than I ever did in school.

OK for the first clanbook, 8 May 1998

Considering that this was the first clanbook White Wolf published, it's pretty good. Its strongest features are the non-sterotypical character templates, and its explaination of the three Brujah factions.
It could use more information on the history and leaders of the clan, and the secret powers could have been edited out.
Overall all it's good for players who want to play Brujah as more than bullies.
