Hi, my name is Claire Garland and I am the founder of Dot Pebbles (website, blog and twitter) - which is basically a collection of knitted dolls and their outfits that you knit yourself.
I live, with my husband and three children in a pretty stone cottage in rural Cornwall finding precious time to enjoy life - for me that's baking, gardening, knitting, sewing, writing books, designing clothes for my Dot Pebbles dolls, styling my home, and enjoying my house and everything that goes with it and within it. For the rest of them it's the beach!
I love home style books - Ryland, Peters and Small books stack the shelves in my house as do cookery books with loads of lush photography - one of my favourite cookery writers being Tessa Kiros - her recipes are top and tasty, her books - gorgeous, and of course, after my own heart, I adore craft books - Erika Knight tops my list for that! ..and beautiful childrens' books - Lauren Child's Goldilocks and the Three Bears is my children's book of the moment.
