Claire Crowther is a widely acclaimed half-Irish, half-English poet who was brought up in Hobs Moat, Warwickshire. She worked as a journalist, editor, publisher and communications director before becoming a poet. Her work has gained attention for its blend of mainstream and experiment; her first collection was shortlisted for the Aldeburgh Best First Collection prize in 2007.
