This review is from: The City Trail Guide to Khartoum and the rest of Sudan: Including a Fully Updated Section on Exploring the Rest of the Sudan (Paperback)
Definitely worth a try, and refreshing to see something a little different on the market for travelguidebooks. I was impressed with the quality and detail of the information and, as someone that already knows Sudan quite well, can say that it didn't suffer from so many of the mistakes that I've seen in other guides and resources about the country. Some very original points to this guidebook, too - such as the first maps I've ever seen to Khartoum's chaotic bus system and details about the city's gyms! Also like the idea of the living and working section - useful for those staying awhile in the country.
