This is a beautifully produced book with lovely recipes. Each chapter is based on a group of ingredients/flavours e.g. citrus, herbs, flowers, cream. Some recipes can be a little time-consuming but others are very simple to make (for example, baked potatoes with saffron mayonnaise; chilli beans, avocado & sour cream; spiced roasted peppers with mozzarella). There are also some I haven't tried which sound wonderful but will have to wait for the seasonal ingredients to become available - Seville orange marinated chicken, cannellini & broad beans with lavender, eve's summer pudding, nasturtium & chive butter tagliatelle. It is so nice to have a book with recipes which you won't find elsewhere or which have a twist on the 'norm'.
