A nice concise guide to evaluating a DS for purchase. Would certainly be of use to a neophyte or even a budding amateur in evaluating the purchase of a DS. The main areas of concern are covered and are well illustrated. The most daunting areas of the DS are the items that are fairly unique to the first time buyer, the hydraulics and the unibody construction and this is no doubt where the book would be the most helpful. The servicing and parts cost guide would also help with evaluating whether that tatty DS that you are looking at would be worth restoring. Considering the time and investment that would be put into the purchase of a D-series car $19.95 seems like a small price to pay for a bit of knowledge.
