A local organics store gave me several samples of this shampoo with matching conditioner to try out, however thinking it looked non plus I'd left it sitting untouched for some time... that is until the other day.
For some time I've combated an extreme oily condition with my scalp, the cause which is a mystery. None of the Bert's Bee's products helped, Neutrogena T/Gel Tar Shampoo, or Fructis for that matter. Out of desperation I turned to the samples and decided they could be no worse. Not expecting much I squeezed out the shampoo into my hand and began to lather very oily locks thinking the odds of this product being a miracle cure were minuscule. Was I wrong! My hair lathered up nicely and the scent was fresh and clean citris. So far so good.
Next the conditioner. My hair is also quite long, the full length of my back, fine and easily tangled. This was the final test... could it de-tangle my type of hair? YES! Again to my amazement, the conditioner was equally good, although I'm not 'quite' ready to give up my heavy duty Fructis fortifying conditioner yet, the de-tangler of all de-tanglers for long fine hair. Besides, I know from having once been a Cosmetologist that it's good to switch product periodically to keep hair from buildup and becoming unresponsive. It is also wise to seek those with a 5.5 Ph balance if possible as they are closest to your hairs composition.
Give this product a try, that is unless your demand is that products be nothing less than pure without chemical enhancement, then I suggest a Pure Castile Oil from the 60's or other Organic yet ineffective hair product.
