It's a fine watch 24 Jan 2012
It's a fine watch. It looks good on the hand. My opinion is that it's a good deal for that price, though maybe i'd love it more if 12 and 6 numbers weren't so big or displayed at all.

NO BETTER VALUE CAN BE FOUND! Hi-Dollar Features / Low-Dollar Cost 22 Oct 2010
By D. Miller - Published on Amazon.com

With money being tight like it is for everyone these days, and knowing how selective I am when it comes to watch features and quality, I assumed it was a bad time for me to begin looking for a new watch to buy. But a past medical condition began causing tremors and weakness in my hands and wrists, so the primary watch I have worn in recent years had to go. It was a beautiful Swiss-made stainless steel automatic with the works, but it was too heavy for me to comfortably wear any more for any length of time. With that as my backdrop, I decided to look for a new "everyday wear" watch (i.e. fit for casual and business wear), but it had to have all the following features:

>- Analog with Date function,
>- Water-resistant rating of at least 100 meters,
>- Be "self-propelled" - either solar, kinetic, or an automatic mechanical - but NO batteries to replace,
>- Luminous for basic night-viewing,
>- Sapphire crystal, and
>- MOST IMPORTANTLY - Titanium watch and band (LIGHT-weight was mandatory).

Being very familiar with watches in general (somewhat of a hobby thru the years), I knew that a watch with all the above features, especially the Sapphire and Titanium, would be very hard to find within our tight budget of $250 or less, especially a watch with a reputable name that looks classy and could be expected to work for years to come. After looking at hundreds of watches online and in person at jewelers over the past 6 months, I was fortunate enough to come across this prize. AMAZON.com had it for significantly less than the best local jewelers could offer (20-25% less than most) while still retaining the full 5-year warranty covered by Citizens. Over the years, I have owned and come to appreciate the quality and form of Citizen Watches. This watch has not been a disappointment! You won't find a better buy if you are looking for a watch with high-end features on a tight budget. I hope your reason for wanting a titanium watch differs from mine (i.e. wish you the best in health!), but whatever your reason, you won't be disappointed wearing this beauty!

PRO's: Great value - features/cost unbeatable, Reliability - Citizen's reputation and warranty, Titanium - very lightweight, Sapphire crystal - virtually scratchproof, Eco-Drive - no routine battery replacements, Water-resistant rating of 100 meters allows for swimming and showering with watch on, Appearance - classy yet practical fitting for casual and formal attire.

CON's: Although telling the time in the dark is not difficult at all with this watch, some people may find the following to be a "CON": Luminosity limited to Hour and Minute Hands and the Numbers "12" and "6" along the dial - no other hour markers glow.

All the right features 24 Oct 2010
By Steve - Published on Amazon.com

I wanted a watch with certain features: nearly scratch proof crystal, date, luminous hands/numbers, metal bracelet, solar powered and super-accurate. This watch delivered it all at a good price. It looks great too and is easy to read in all light conditions. Adjusting the bracelet is easy using just a regular pin to knock-out the link pins but be careful. There are tiny split tubes that also fall out with the pins. These grip the pins, holding them in place. You have to reinsert them in the center tab of the bracelet (I used a regular pin) before you drive the link pin back in place. It's easy to do but this tiny part is easy to lose.

Just got this watch... 23 April 2011
By Jason E. Rimmer - Published on Amazon.com
...and I'm pleased to say the least.

D. Miller's review above is spot on and I can't add much detail.

What I can say is that the picture is fairly accurate. The body and band of the watch are matte but with a bit of shine. Semi-matte if you know what I mean? The face is black, but it's high gloss and has a silvery shine in the light.

The band comes XX-large so most average humans will need links removed. No big deal. A smaller adjustment is available on the clasp itself as usual.

The band is made in China and is well made. Not an arm-hair-puller. The movement is from Japan.

Great watch. You won't find anything near this price point with solar, titanium, and a sapphire crystal.
