A set of 12 pastel, silicone cup cake cases which are safe and easy to use. Cup cases are washable and can be used time after time to bake your favourite cakes. Ultra flexible silicone is suited to little hands as it allows easy release of cakes. The cases will also not absorb flavours or odour and will not distort or taint.
The silicone cup cake cases are from the 'Miniamo' range, Miniamo means 'to love your little ones' and caters for boys and girls, aged 2 to 9. Since I do a lot of baking, I decided to get some reusable cases, hoping it'd be cheaper and more environmentally friendly than buying and throwing away paper cases all the time.
These surprised me by working really well just on a baking tray without needing support (though they fit in the muffin tin I have too), they're non-stick, and clean really easily. The cakes don't come out quite as easily from these as from paper cases, but there's not a lot of difference. I was worried that they would be the size of the smaller fairy cakes, but each one is actually the size of an average muffin case, which is exactly what I wanted. As another reviewer pointed out, they are quite flimsy, but I've found that it makes them easier to peel away from the cakes, and I didn't get the impression they were likely to break any time soon. I'm a cupcake nerd, so I was pleased that the pastel colours are really pretty too.
The only problem I've had with these so far is that you have to be careful that people know they're reusable - sadly I've lost a few because relatives have absent-mindedly thrown them out.

I bought these and a silicone 6 bun tin at the same time. These little cases are so much easier than the silicone bun tin. I used them on a flat baking sheet. Very easy to remove the cakes from them. Just what I was looking for!

These are very pretty and useful. They are bigger than standard paper fairy cake cases but not as big as muffin cases. You can follow recipes for fairy cakes or cupcakes. If I am making cakes to eat at home I bake in them directly and find they never stick and are stronger than paper cases so the liquid doesn't fall out or cause misshapen cakes. If I am baking cakes to give away, for instance for school cake sales, I just put paper cases inside these ones. This means I can make bigger, better shaped cakes without burnt bits round the edges or the mixture spilling but do not have to give my lovely cases away! They go in the dishwasher, but make sure you put them somewhere where they will not fall through the gaps - some of mine fell to the bottom and were scalded on the element at the bottom. Now I squeeze them into the cutlery areas and they wash nicely in safety.

Expensive, but worth it!
This cases are really good. The cakes and muffins come out without any mess or leftovers. My daughter loves choosing which coulour cake she's going to have next. Read more
