Gower needs little recommendation to those who know it, but this selection of walks will broaden most people's horizons to appreciate the amazing variety of landscape on offer in such a small area. The walks are short - from 3 to 7 miles - and in the nature of the landscape, none is all that strenuous, though the cliff paths described can involve a lot of ascent and descent. The north coast of Gower is often neglected by visitors, and the walks here give a different perspective and a slightly wilder feel.
Descriptions are fairly brief, but easy to follow, and the geographical or historical details (points of interest after each walk) are pretty sketchy, but this is essentially a pocket book, and is easily light enough to carry with you. Recommended to take the Explorer OS map along too.
If you're looking for a walk including the fabulous Three Cliffs Bay, or a detailed description of the stunning Worms Head, they are not in this book.
