Amazon Verified Purchase
I've given this a four rating instead of a five, because of the layout of my vehicle and not due to a particular fault on the holder itself. The holder can be clipped onto any of the grille vanes in your vehicle. The radio in my vehicle (a Citroën C4 Picasso) has a protective flap over it, which can not open because the TomTom is in the way when clipped from the lower part of the grille. To be fair, this does not happen when the TomTom is held from the upper part of the grille as it is then out of the way of the flap. It is just that my preferred position is at the bottom grille vane to limit reflections on the TomTom screen. I also use this holder in another car (a Vauxhall Vectra) and there is no obstruction whatsoever. So in summary; buy one but consider the vehicle in which you will use it.

The concept of mounting your tomtom on the air vent is very good, however, though, my tomtom has not fallen off the mount yet it does make me slightly worried if I turn the corner too quick or if I drove over a bumpy road the air vent mount would fall off.
The clips don't really hold the device firmly in the air vent and does make me think perhaps they should've made the clips a little more robust, so it doesn't creat that rocking motion when you touch it (gently).
I still have my windscreen suckation pad with me just in case.

It works which is somewhat of a surprise as I felt when I first used it that it would fall off as it is so light. It doesn't and for the money must be a good buy if you don't like the Nav on your windscreen.Easy to put in place and adjust to your viewing likes.
