I consider myself an amateur electrician so even though this book is well advanced for me, I can kind of understand it. Even though this book isn't for people like me, I can see that it would be a must have resource for a circuit designer.
This book, according to the back cover, gives engineers (circuit designers) "the practical know-how to produce optimized, reliable, cost-effective electronic circuits." And that's what it does, from grounding and wiring to passive and active components, if it has anything to do with circuit design, it's covered in this book with real world considerations.
One thing I took away from this book was how necessary analog circuits are even today. I thought everything was digital now. Another thing I learned was that to understand digital circuits, you need a good ground in analog and you'll get that with this book.
