First released in 1975 and now 32 years later on CD. Circle of Love contains the excellent Love Dont Go Through No Changes On Me where Kathie,s vocals are irresistible. You can almost feel the seventies decade through its style and sound. It,s not in the same class as We are Family but this is where the sisters started. Circle of Love(Caught in The Middle) and Cross My Heart are both excellent songs. Having played it a few times it makes me wonder why Sister Sledge didn,t have a few more Hits prior to 1979.

This album as previously stated was very ealy Sister Sledge. In fact it is from the better side of their long career. It's fresh and very soulful. For me the best track is Pain Reliever, although every track deserves 5 stars, but, for me, it is far the better track.
Owning it on vinyl in it's original form and on it's original label Atco, means something about what the label was doing and how good the music was and remains to this very day.
