About the Author
Ernest Mathijs is Lecturer in Film Studies at the University of Wales. Aberystwyth, where he leads the Centre for Research into Extreme and Alternative Media. He is co-editor of Alternative Europe: Eurotrash and Exploitation Cinema Since 1945 and Big Brother International: Formats, Critics and Publics (both Wallflower Press, 2004).
