Kate Hardy is best known for her HMB Medical Romances, but with her wonderful flair for sensual and humorous story telling, it's no surprise that she's added a new string to her bow in the form of Modern Extra.
The Cinderella Project follows the story of Cyn Reynolds, a work-a-holic who happened to need a partner to escort her to an important wedding, and Max Taylor, a man who doesn't believe in relationships but is happy to date Miss Right-Now. With a little persuasion and some arm twisting from his secretary and Cyn's best friend, Max agrees to take on the role of being Cyn's significant other for a day.
The book tells the story of two work-a-holics, neither of whom are the least interested in a relationship but who, upon meeting and getting to know one another, discover that there's more to life than work. And that no matter how hard they try to resist, love will have its way!
If you're a fan of contemporary romance, you'll love this. The story grabs you from the very first page, and draws you further and further in until it's all over, leaving you wanting more.
It's funny, it's sexy and it's very much now. Let's hope it isn't long before Kate Hardy releases yet another Mod X.

this was a great book to get into, because it is grounded in modern day and you can believe the plot of the book whilst still getting trapped in the fairytale-ness of the whole thing. I would reccomend this book to anyone who had enjoyed other silhouette romances and also to those in need of a little escape.
