Product Description

When the Darcy Gang rob an army payroll from the Cimarron Bank, Darcy and the youngest member of the gang, the Kid, are arrested and jailed. As Darcy is sent off to prison, Marshal Crown places the Kid on a horse ranch to live and work for a cagey old horse trainer by the name of Malachi Grimes, known to the locals as Grimy. Awaiting Darcy's escape from prison, the Kid begins to change his way of thinking as he becomes closer friends with Grimy. When Darcy escapes prison, he vows to come back and get even with Marshal Crown and Grimes. The Kid is faced with the decision of either helping Darcy or turning him in to Marshal Crown.

This long forgotton series from the late sixties starring Stuart Whitman is excellent ,Very good quality great storys and all star casts. there are Twenty three films in this series and they cover all aspects of the western genre, gunfights, indian wars, bankrobbers, it was like a hardened Bonanza without too much of the wishy washy stuff to keeo the women folk interested, this is a real gem

look out fot the others, hoefull they will release a complete set soon

Excellent western series - wholesome. I do agree some night scenery is not easily seen but are mostly short scenes. Too bad it was not a longer series. Love the entire series. Characters seemed to live the characters they played with moral integrity. Not like the trash being forced on people now with no stars having any worthwhile character traits. Stuart Whitman just makes this series because it seems the series was make just for him - his type character - which he plays to the hilt.
