Cilla Lancelyn Green was born into a literary family: her father was the author Roger Lancelyn Green, best known for his re-tellings of myths and legends for children, and her brother, Richard Lancelyn Green, who at his tragically early death in 2004 was the worlds' leading expert on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Not as serious as either, but inspired by both, she has been writing since her childhood and now, in the best tradition of her own romantic heroines, has followed her heart and lives in France.
A Quiet Revolution was short listed for the Catherine Cookson Fiction Prize in 1995.
